Inspiratus through its market study identified a gap and an opportunity in football academies category. Inspiratus approached and partnered with the Spanish league to create the LaLiga Project. Thus, conceptualized and launched the first Laliga Academy in the world, currently a standard of excellence to all LaLiga Academies globally. The inception started in the UAE with LaLiga Academies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, followed by Academies in Egypt and North America. Later Laliga extended the module to India, China and Europe.
The success of the program has led to a movement in youth football in the UAE with other academies following suit to improve their standards of training and provide youth across the UAE with optimum standards in football training.
LaLiga Academy has delivered top footballers to national clubs as well as international clubs.
In recognition of its leading role in spearheading youth development at a national level, the LaLiga High Performance Centre (LaLiga HPC) project received 5- star recognition from the Sports Event Ranking System ratified by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, as one of only 4 events recognized with five stars and the only youth sports and football initiative to be recognized in this category.
Also, recognized by the UAE sports authorities for elevating the level of football and by the sports industry, the LaLiga HPC won 3 SPIA Awards for Best Youth Development Project, including 2 gold awards in 2016 and 2018 and a silver award in 2019.
