Task: Our task for Abu Dhabi Art involved comprehensive event management of this prestigious art fair including management of Patrons & Collectors, public access, licensing, sponsor engagement, security, protocol, and data tracking.
What we did: We expertly managed ten events for Patrons and Collectors, from intimate dinners to grand openings and tours, working closely with the DCT Patrons & Collectors (P&C) Team. This included operational aspects of the Patrons & Collectors Preview and opening reception, as well as managing the sponsor's VIP dinner. We also managed all transportation and logistics for the P&C’s and gallerists for the duration of the Fair, including flights, hotel bookings, etc. We crafted an Operations Manual to guide stakeholders and the project team and ensure a flawless operation on the ground. We liaised with security and the DCT Protocol team for VVIP visits, and secured all necessary licenses for entertainment and speakers in a timely manner. Our role extended to data collection, traffic management, ticketing, security management, HSE and coordination with F&B vendors to ensure a flawless experience. We managed a team of over 50 hosts/hostesses for crowd management and guest support across the venue and events. Throughout the buildup and the Fair, we worked closely with the production team, AV team, Facilities management, HSE and the client to ensure a seamless experience for all.
