Task: Inspiratus was requested by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to manage and promote a new multi-sports league initiated by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Department of Knowledge and Education, in line with Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s mission to elevate the level of school sports in the nation and promote health, wellness and happiness. The project was also designed to encourage the discovery of local talent and reinforce the nation’s shared vision to raise a healthy future generation.
What we did: Inspiratus successfully launched, managed and promoted this groundbreaking league for boys and girls which was open to public and private schools across Abu Dhabi, free of charge. It was designed to encourage the largest number of youths to be active, gain tournament exposure at world-class standards and to be discovered by Abu Dhabi clubs. The tournament was executed with team and individual competitions across 7 sports: football, basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, swimming and gymnastics. Inspiratus was also responsible for the marketing campaign and the management of the tournament, including a 360 campaign driven by social media. Registration was flooded and the tournament was a huge success with over 15,000 players in the first season from 73 public schools and 50 private schools. As part of the scouting platform, 64 players were scouted by local clubs. The finals of ADSC were hosted in the presence of dignitaries and senior officials from the government and community members and attended by over 1,500 fans, families and friends.
