Task: Inspiratus Sports District set up a World Cup Fanzone at ISD at the heart of Dubai Sports City. The unique outdoor venue was themed as “THE FAMILY FRIENDLY FANZONE”.
What we did: Inspiratus created the concept of THE FAMILY FRIENDLY FANZONE, a carnival of games suitable for all ages from 5 to 55. Inspiratus managed the whole months festival from concept to execution, onboarding suppliers and sponsors including Adidas, Coca Cola, lovin dubai and Mashreq Bank. Extending over – The Square – the concert venue, and the adjacent football pitch, two enormous high-definition screens were set up for airing all matches, with dual commentary in English and Arabic. The venue also included an exclusive VIP zone with their private 4K display. The program included the screening of live matches, customized entertainment themed around the playing teams, such as Brazilian samba, English tribute bands and DJs, coupled with football-themed entertainment. The Fanzone drew large crowds each night with the venue sold out for most of the major matches. Inspiratus also designed and developed the marketing and communications campaign which reached thousands across the UAE through creative content and extensive digital marketing. Inspiratus, developed and launched an app, ISDBE, for ease of ticket purchase which was redeemable at all F&B outlets at the venue. Inspiratus worked closely with Dubai Sports City and Dubai Police to ensure all HSE measures were in place for a fun, safe and healthy experience for all attendees. World Cup Fanzone at ISD was a huge success attracting families form all nationalities with over fifty thousand spectators during a month of world cup football.
