Task: Our goal was to create a unique event with a distinct value proposition and format, setting it apart from existing industry shows. We were required to emphasize on experiences and present unique venues suitable for weddings and celebrations, fostering innovation in the creative industry and creating bridges between the international wedding and celebration scene and the local/regional one.
What we did: Over three days, we conceptualized and designed the inaugural Abu Dhabi Wedding Show, which encompassed two dinners, a B2B conference, and familiarization trips. We collaborated with the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) to design the event logo and overall look & feel. Our responsibilities included sourcing and onboarding over 15 speakers, managing pre-event registration, developing a microsite, sourcing sponsors, sourcing and coordinating with venues, and program development and management. We also handled the complex logistics of flight, hotel accommodations, and ground arrangements for around 80 international speakers. On-site, we managed all aspects of the event, from registration and event production to stage set-up, audio-visual, speaker coordination, presentation management, show calling, F&B, content capture, social and networking events, and more, ensuring the success of the Abu Dhabi Wedding Show
